This policy explains what Glish Studio BV collects when you visit this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

The short version: this website is intentionally simple. We do not run ads, we do not use Google Analytics, we do not sell personal data, and we do not build profiles of visitors. We use a self-hosted Matomo installation to understand basic website traffic in a privacy-friendly way.

01 / What we collect

Website visits

Like any website, our server processes basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, requested page, time of request, and similar connection details. This is needed to send the website to your browser, keep the site reliable, and protect it against abuse.

Short-term server logs may be kept for security, troubleshooting, and operational reliability. We do not use these logs to identify visitors unless we need to investigate abuse, attacks, or technical problems.

Analytics

We use Matomo, hosted by us, to collect basic anonymous or privacy-preserving statistics about visits to the website. This helps us understand things like which pages are visited, which browsers are used, and whether the site is working properly.

This website may link to other websites. If you follow a link to another site, that site is responsible for its own privacy practices.

We may occasionally embed external content, such as a YouTube video. Where practical, we will use privacy-friendly embedding options or load such content only after you choose to interact with it. Embedded third-party content may still allow that third party to receive technical information about your visit, especially if you play the video or interact with the embed.

We do not currently use social media tracking pixels or third-party advertising scripts.

06 / Retention and security

We keep data only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above.

Short-term technical logs are kept for security and reliability, then deleted or rotated. Analytics data is kept only as long as useful for understanding website traffic and improving the site.

We protect the website with reasonable technical measures, including HTTPS encryption in transit and access controls for systems we manage. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we process.
