Glish
Awkwardly cool and interesting, but not by the usual standards. So cool that it simply can not be described by any known adjectives such as the shit, awesome, or wonderful. Can be used to describe people, or any noun that gives anyone a slight feeling of euphoria upon sight and may cause one to forget what they're thinking. Mainly used when you have no clue to describe something cool.
Nobody is entirely sure what a Glish is.
That gives us room to improvise.
Glish Studio is a small indie game studio. We make the games we'd love to play, from ideas that came to us in our dreams.
We care about telling a good story when a game calls for one, and crafting the kind of loop that makes you say "one more go" four times when it doesn't.
One thing we won't make is paint-by-numbers games — or maybe we will, if behind colour 37 is a secret passage that opens up taking you to... wait, let me write this down.
We're just getting started, but the plan is simple:
- Make good little games.
- Keep them weird enough.
- Bring snacks.
